First there was the world. And the world was an egg. The egg was cared for by a fabulous animal with the face of a woman and the body of an all-seeing bird of prey. A harpy from when women were birds with deep gray eyes. A harpy who by guarding the egg guarded the world. We have only been human for a short time. First there was the world and the world was the egg, and the crone knew it. Only sometimes the crone could turn into another and enter the world, which was the egg. Those who saw her told it in a whisper so that the human voice would not call her back.
