Lagos creates situations where the scale is altered by resizing the relationship between the majesty of nature and human presence.
His sculptural works and interventions - which can be considered visual paradoxes - reveal his particularly concerned to understand the essence of the materials that constitute his environment while questioning reality as an artificial construct supported from the appearance of things.
Miler has an evident interest in nature observation and exploration of the phenomena that occur on it, and its relationship to cultural production or political and environmental issues.

Biography

Miler Lagos' work is the result of deep reflections on nature-humanity relations. His work analyzes the existing imbalances between human adaptability and natural phenomena. Through the exploration of diverse materials, mostly industrialized (for example, newsprint), the artist creates visual paradoxes with which he seeks to question inherent aspects of everyday life, questioning the construction of cultural imaginaries.
